Hello everyone,
Well done to all the children regardless of their score, they all worked so hard.
Our DS scored 218 and we're hoping for Parmiter's (priority postcode), last year's cut off was 216. He was predicted to have a much higher score as he's a very bright boy, but reading other comments on here he must have made several silly mistakes as he found the test easy.
He would have got in last year, but don't think we have much hope this year due to the influx of the private school sector sitting the exam and the extra demand for places on state schools. We will still put it down as our first choice, but cannot wait longer than the first CI round as he needs certainty asap.
What do others think about his chances and also about the impact of the private school children, with potentially much higher scores?
Would be grateful for any input, thank you.
