First time poster and first time 11 plus mum, so please be gentle!
I was hoping to get some information - unless I am confused (which is entirely possible!), the pass mark for NGHS has gone down from 200 too 190 this year (PP from 191 to 181) - does anyone know why this could be? Is it just to get an increased number of girls from the catchment area in? Adams' pass mark is 205, and I thought historically they had always had the same passmark... I'm sure I'm being ridiculously optimistic, but is there any chance that the girls have maybe scored less highly than the boys this year, and because NGHS isn't co ed, it's affected their qualifying score?
