They look at children's Maths score for those born at he beginning of the year and those at the end of the year. If it looks like the older children are scoring better than the younger children get some adjustments. Usually positive. This year when they analysed the younger children did equally as well as the older children. The increase in age did not mean they scored better. So no adjustment needed.why zero standardisation in maths? Sorry I'm new to this...
