I was under the impression that it can impact some movement. For example, if a few have been offered Marling but are appealing to other schools; they may drop off the Marling list if they have successful appeals at the other grammar schools. The next person on waiting list would then be contacted creating some movement. I think some grammar schools are still undergoing appeals so we may find out for sure in the next few weeks. We are moving very slowly so fingers crossed.
