Is this in Bucks, OP?
For Bucks schools where there has been an unsuccessful SR I believe that the appeal happens at a single sitting but in two sections: the first section reviews whether the SR was not FCO. IF this is found to be the case the panel then consider the appeal on grounds of non-qualification , and then also oversubscription.
It is relatively rate for SRs to be found not FCO ie the likelyhood of successful appeal is very small
BUT that shouldn’t stop you from trying if you genuinely believe the SR itself was flawed. We know the SR process itself is not always perfect.
Do you have the clerks notes from the SR, and what will be your argument for the SR not being FCO in the first place?
