Birmingham, Walsall, Wolverhampton and Wrekin • Kehs 40% scholarship versus Camp Hill

Dear parent experts

I have found myself in a dilemma albeit a very good one.
My daughter is pretty much guaranteed a place at camp hill girls but has also been offered a 40% scholarship at KEHS.

The fees are affordable to us as long as we can justify what the value add is as opposed to going to camp hill.

Distance wise both equal
My daughter is smart but shes not geeky. She is very social and very active and does alot of extra curricular.

Our experience so far has been a local state primary which has 50 % disadvantaged pupils, not much after school provisions and hardly any clubs. For us camp hill would be a decent step up and a massive privilege.

Question is apart from smaller classes (6 less per class) and the facilities is there anything else I am paying for.

Are teachers better?
Is Pastoral care better?
Are the school dinners better (lol)?
I know you pay extra for the trips but are there alot of day trips that are included in the fees?
Are there more opportunities to compete in debating contests and shows etc.
Will Kehs open more doors.
Which school has better retention rates for teachers.

It would be great to hear from parents who either have experience of both or those that have been impressed with a particular feature of either school.

Fingers crossed the awesome people on this forum can help.
