We were similar, having done CEM a few years back then changed to GL last year. No idea if this was a good strategy but I decided to use a few different ones to get used to different things as you don't know what could come up on the day of the test. Used combination of CGP, collins, schofield and sims practice books and then got some of the GL practice papers from the GL website.
Not sure if this varies from region to region but one difference I found is that for GL there were separate papers in the test for each of English, Maths, VR etc. Whereas for CEM they were lots of short sections in each paper which jumped between different topics.
