GCSEs • Art GCSEs can be taken?

Hi,

DD is in Year 9 now
One of the options she wants to take is Art GCSEs.
how much easy or hard it is. Any insights into this. Have been hearing that it is like the most time consuming. Is there thesis to be written and practical projects to be submitted. Any examples like framed painting?

Also computing GCSE is one of the options we are considering. Any insights into this.
