I think the most straight forward answer is that they take kids who scored higher up the rankings.My son has qualified for both STR and Crypt, and we're trying to decide between them. STR consistently outperforms Crypt in GCSE results, especially in STEM subjects and English, and has a higher 'Progress 8' score. Does anyone have firsthand experience or insights into what might be contributing to this difference?
