We looked at all the boys/ co-ed grammars.
Mine is happily settled in at Tommies. He had a few wobbles over year 7 and the pastoral care was excellent. Some boys with SEND in year groups above who we know have also been impressed with the pastoral care. Son wasn't impressed with art and music being such a high focus as performing in front of an audience is his worst nightmare.
Looking around at open days this year for 2nd Child (Girl) we were impressed with Pates again but felt it was more art/ music and daughter is very talented at PE.
Again these are only our views and both schools IMO are excellent.
