In answer to your questions, yes the 2:1 grade was submitted to the school before the 11+...they have said the only reason they couldn't give a 1:1 was because of the Expected grade in writing.
We are indeed at a Bucks Primary.
There were no extenuating circumstances.
The school head has submitted their Selection Review report and in it has said that they expect our daughter to achieve Greater Depth in writing by the end of Y6 which is good news.
We don't have much/any evidence of our own to submit but we are thinking of asking the Y6 teacher to provide a report supporting her case for a Grammar school place and explaining why our daughter is predicted to move from an expected to Greater depth for writing.
Does that all make sense? Are we doing the correct things? Anything we're missing which may help her case?
