It’s difficult to know, last year the min score gaining entrance did go up, but no guarantee it will go up again looking at past years. I just wish they would release the ranking with the score, would make it so much less stressful and easier for parents to decide whether to put QE as first choice or not.I’m keen to avoid taking my son to view the school again if his score isn’t realistic. I know all boys above a total score of 220/230 are invited for the tours, but what’s a realistic cut-off score to make it worthwhile?
With increased competition expected this year, is above 238 a fair estimated cut off?
I should add, the effort of going there is not the issue, it’s the excitement and buzz it will ignite in all of us…I don’t want to unnecessarily take him through an emotional roller coaster.
