Re: when our children get their exam results... my understanding is that the results have only been promised by 31 Oct latest - hopefully earlier, but no other date has been given.
Trafford11plus.co.uk seems to stating confidently that we'll receive results by post on 11 October... this doesn't sound right? We get them via the application portal, no? Though we'd be really glad to be put out of our misery by 11 October![:D]( "Very Happy")

Last year this same website stated results would be published Friday 13th October, but as a previous poster has said, they were actually out on Thursday 19th October.
I think they are often the Thursday before half term (a lot of the grammars have an inset day on the Friday before, which I think is why they do the Thursday at the latest instead).
Of my friends with children in various older years, I don;t think any had to wait longer than that to receive results - they all had them before October half term.
